Tooth Extractions & Wisdom Teeth
We also welcome patients without referrals
In your overall dental treatment, a tooth, or multiple teeth, may need to be removed. This could be due to advanced decay, bone loss, or trauma. Mostly, this will be recommended by your dentist.
We ensure your comfort during your dental procedure
We understand that most patients are anxious about having a tooth removed. For your overall comfort and benefit, we offer intravenous sedation for all procedures.
We preserve teeth where possible
At John-Michael Stewart Oral Surgery, we will try to preserve a tooth, if possible. We will work with your dentist to ensure this. If you do not have a relationship with a general dentist, we can help you find one.
We understand everyone is unique
Wisdom teeth usually do not have enough room for normal eruption. These teeth may never cause problems despite being in poor position. However, impacted teeth can lead to periodontal defects which affect adjacent teeth, cause infections, cysts or even tumors. Typically, they are fully formed at the age of 18. Therefore, the ideal age to remove them is between ages of 15 and 18. Everyone is unique, so these ages may vary.
